As a real estate professional, I get this question almost everyday. And it’s a great question to have, because the answer is always different, depending on a variety of factors.
ATLANTA,GA | Atlanta, Georgia is the definitive capital of the South. Diverse in culture, arts, economy and natural resources, Atlanta provides a strong foundation for it’s ever growing community of people and businesses. As an Atlantan for over 15 years, I have grown to know and love Atlanta in a very special way. It’s rolling hills, blazing sunsets and continual growth and redevelopment has made it’s mark on both my professional and personal life.
As a real estate professional I help buyers, sellers and investors, find properties that fulfill their needs, and help move them a step forward in business and life. Because I am passionate advocate for individual property rights and how that adds diversity and strength to our communities, assisting individuals in this process is my greatest joy.
Growing up in South Carolina, I have always had an interest in real estate and investing. As a young child, on my grandfather’s farm, I was amazed at all the different ways he was able to use the land he owned. With minimal resources, he was able to maximize what the earth gave naturally. Although from very modest beginnings, my grandfather was able to assemble several hundred acres of land in the Piedmont area of South Carolina. He grew, cotton, hay, blackberries, plums, apples and tomatoes. I grew up seeing how he and my grandmother loved the land and how it took care of all of us.
As his children grew, and began their own families, he divided up the land amongst them. Each child then had the ability to build their own homes and start life on their own terms. Although I did not grow-up on the farm my entire childhood we did spend many years there. Of course, the world has changed so much since he bought that land 100 years ago, but what remains still is the lessons learned from Mother Nature and the continuity of family and place.
Now, I have my own family in Atlanta, and we are so proud to be a part of the community here. As residents of Morningside, we have a unique position to have a very low-key neighborhood feel, but all the dynamism and action of a large city at our disposal. Each week, I’m amazed that I’m still able to find new streets, new homes and new interesting pockets of activity here in Atlanta. There are so many uniques places to live, work and play here, and I truly believe that there is a little something for everyone.
Thank you so much for visiting my site and welcome home!
